Husqvarna is again in the limelight because of one of its upcoming motorcycles. This time it has taken a step further and has started testing its new adventure motorcycle. The first spy shots of this test mule have surfaced recently. Here is what you need to know about the upcoming Husqvarna Adventure bike.
It isn’t a surprise to see that Husqvarna has borrowed many parts from the KTM 790 Adventure to get things going for itself. The test mule is getting its power from the same 799cc parallel twin engine that is installed on the 790 Adventure. On the KTM it produces 94bhp of power, and it’s quite likely that Husqvarna has not altered it in any fashion. We can’t really comment on this at this point in time.
Other parts that you can spot are taken from KTM include suspension, swingarm and wheels and whatnot. So what has Husqvarna done to make this motorcycle its own product? Well, at the front you can see typical Husky-styled round LED headlamp. There is also a new bolt-on subframe and seat. The tail light is what we have seen on the 701 range.
The new Adventure bike is clearly in its initial days of testing. It is going to take a good amount of time to get it to see the light of the day. We’ll be waiting patiently for this adventure motorcycle to come out. It is being speculated that we can expect to see this bike sometime by the end of 2019 or early 2020. Also, there’s a possibility that Husqvarna could name it as the 801.
