Looking to expand its product lineup for 2018, Energica, the Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer, would be unveiling a new product at the EICMA motorcycle show this year. This new product is expected to be an electric scrambler.

Last year Energica revealed one of its concepts called Eva EsseEsse 9. It is that concept that Energica has worked on and given a few scrambler-like touches. This is based on its other product called Eva, which is a naked motorcycle. If we look at the pictures, we can see the concept motorcycle has dual-purpose tyres, a ribbed seat and a racing number-style side panel.

An electric scrambler, sounds fun, eh?

At present, Energica has two models in its product lineup. One is Eva, the naked one, which produces a max power of 108 bhp and a mind-boggling peak torque of 180 Nm. The other model is the Ego, which is a fully-faired electric motorcycle capable to generate 145 bhp of max power and a whopping 200 Nm of peak torque.

If Energica’s concept Eva EssaEssa 9 becomes a reality then it will add as a third model in the company’s portfolio. If everything goes as planned, the new model would hit the European market by mid of next year. Let’s see what happens at the EICMA show which is going to be held in Nov in Milan.
