Earlier this year, we saw some spy shots of the updated TNT 600i which Benelli has been working on. In the pictures, the bike seemed to be a lot different than the current model. However, that’s not the case as the new Benelli TNT 600i has been revealed at the EICMA 2019.

Yes, there are a few changes in the new TNT 600i but they aren’t as significant as some of the early spy shots suggested. In reality, there is a new vertically stacked LED headlight, which looks quite cool. The one on the current model was hideous and spoiled the overall look of the motorcycle.

Apart from the new LED headlight, the TNT 600i also gets a TFT digital console which is quite a premium touch. It also seems like the tank extensions have gone through some changes as well but we can’t be sure of that.

The rest of the bike remains untouched. It was being speculated that Benelli would relocate the twin under-seat exhausts that prove to be a turn-off to many but it hasn’t. The exhausts are right where they were before and they sound as brilliant as they used to do before.

Powering this 234 kg motorcycle is a 600cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that puts out nearly 80 bhp of power at 11,500 rpm and 51 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox and gets ABS. The TNT 600i hasn’t been popular when it comes to handling and carving corners because of its heavyweight and unusual design. And we don’t think that’s going to change now.
