Another product coming from the Austria brand KTM is the 890 Duke R which has been revealed at the EICMA 2019. KTM has been testing out its new pararllel-twin engine for quite some time now and it finally made it public.

The 890 Duke R is very similar to the 790 Duke in terms of design, style, and dimensions. However, KTM gave it a specific black and white paint job with orange wheels to make it stand out. The 890 Duke R also has some new graphics.

The elephant in the room is the new 890cc, parallel-twin engine. It produces 119 bhp and 99 Nm of torque which is 15 bhp and 14 Nm more respectively than the 790 Duke.

Other 890 Duke R features include-

  • Brembo Stylema calipers with 320mm dual discs at the front
  • Brembo floating caliper with a 240mm disc at the rear
  • Higher ground clearance
  • Higher seat height
  • Rear seat cowl

Even with the new more powerful engine, the 890 Duke R weighs 3 kg less than the 790 Duke.
