Remember the Ducati Panigale 1299 Superleggera? Yeah, the one with an insane amount of power and unbelievably lightweight. Didn’t we all want one? Well, hopefully, there’s soon going to be another Superleggera in town as Ducati has been caught testing a Panigale V4 Superleggera.
We have got a few spy shots of the test mule. It looks very much similar to the current V4 R, however, there are a few elements that make it stand out and hint it to be a Superleggera. To being with, it has a full carbon-fibre fairing. This is a go-to measure for reducing extra weight from a performance motorcycle.
Another feature that caught our attention was the carbon-fibre wheels. Not the fact that they’re of carbon-fibre but that they have the same design as the ones in the 1299 Superleggera. Also, the exhaust of the test mule is apparently made up of titanium.
Apart from these visual changes, the Panigale V4 Superleggera would undeniably be faster than the V4 R.
The test mule looked like pretty much ready and we should hear more about the Panigale V4 Superleggera hopefully at the World Ducati Premiere 2020 on October 23rd.
