The Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy has made a comeback this year with its 3rd edition. This is a must-go-to event for all motorcycle enthusiasts as it involves a plethora of activities related to motorcycling as well as other outdoor activities.

The 2018 Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy is scheduled to take place on four dates – 6 May, 10 June, 15 July and 16 September. It will be held at the Vairano Country House near Pavia (Italy). Being in its 3rd edition, this year’s Days of Joy will feature off-road school, flat track school, basic riding course, a maintenance course specially designed for Ducati Scrambler, outdoor activities and an opportunity to test ride all Ducati motorcycles including the brand new Scrambler 1100.

Below are some more details related to each activity:

Off-road school- This will teach you to how to tackle the Vairano off-road track astride a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. The track covers approximately 53,000 sqm of an area which is more than enough to suit riders of varying expert levels. The training will be supervised by the Italian journalist and rider Roberto Ungaro.


Flat track school- You can either take your Ducati Scrambler or get a 400cc Scrambler Sixty2 by the organisers and learn the basics of flat track racing which involves mostly going sideways. The entire training will be given by expert instructors and professional riders who will teach the participants how to practise and gain experience on various tracks leading up to drifting in and out starting from basic off-road riding skills.

Flat track pro-school- On board a Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 and an 800cc Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro, customised specifically for such dirt tracks.


Basic riding course- This is a special course developed only for beginner motorcyclists. With the help of expert instructors from the Italian DueRuote motorcycle magazine, a Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 or the brand new 400cc Ducati Scrambler Hashtag, participants can learn to ride a motorcycle even without a riding licence.

Test rides- For all those riders who can’t wait to discover the Ducati Scrambler Experience, at the Days of Joy they can try out the bikes of the new Ducati Scrambler range thanks to the collaboration of local Ducati dealers.

Ducati Scrambler maintenance course- A team of official Ducati mechanics will teach the art of motorcycle maintenance.


Other than these, there will be outdoor activities and an open-air American-style barbecue and a chill area with music, free WiFi, deckchairs, table-football and lots more surprise fun activities. There’s also going to be cookery lessons with Stefano Caffarri of The Silver Spoon, Italy’s most definitive and influential cookbook, first published in 1950.
