Most of us would agree that the new Ducati Diavel 1260 is one of the best looking motorcycles available in the market right now. There’s no such bike like this one when it comes to flawless design and styling. Apparently, it’s just not you and I who are in love with the Diavel 1260, even some of the world’s experts think so. And that’s why the Red Dot Design Award 2019 has been given to the Diavel.
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most prestigious international awards for design. It was started in 1995 and each year it is given to the most original and worthy entries in terms of design and innovation. After evaluating over 5,500 products, a highly qualified jury made up of 40 international famous experts has assigned the new Diavel 1260 with the prestigious title “Red Dot Award 2019: Best of the Best”.
In the past, Ducati has won this award twice – 1199 Panigale in 2013 and the XDiavel S in 2016. This year it is the brand’s third award. The new Diavel 1260 is undoubtedly worth it. It’s powerful and muscular and packs in a great combination of style, design, and performance. The style development process which led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind motorcycle took place over approximately three years. Powering the Diavel 1260 is Ducati’s Testastretta DVT 1262 engine that produces 159 horses.

The award-giving ceremony will be held on 8th July at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany, with an audience of 1200 invitees made up of the most notable representatives of international design.
