MV Agusta (USA) has issued a recall notice for its selected models which have been affected by Brembo’s faulty master cylinder. After Aprilia and Ducati, MV Agusta is the third manufacturer to follow in the ‘Brembo Effect’.
A total of 27 units of MV Agusta models have been recalled. It includes 2015 and 2016 MV Agusta F4 RR and MV Agusta F4 RC motorcycles. MV Agusta will contact the owners and notify them about the issue and its remedy. The faulty brake part will be replaced at company’s dealership free of cost.
The official statement released by Brembo stated the names of the companies that were affected by the faulty brake part. The list includes Aprilia, Ducati, KTM, MV Agusta, TM Racing, Moto Morini and Horex. With Aprilia, Ducati and MV Agusta already announced the recall notice for their models, only four firms are remaining (in the USA). We are expecting them to release information about the recall soon.
