Triumph unveiled its latest Street Triple RS on October 7th and once again got us hooked to its naked streetfighter. Now, it has released a teaser video of its next RS bike and this time it’s going to be a Thruxton!
Since a teaser video is out, it means that the unveiling isn’t far away. Speculations are being made that Triumph is likely to do the unveiling of the Thruxton RS on November 5th at EICMA.
The teaser video didn’t reveal anything except for a side panel of the bike with the Thruxton RS sticker. Currently, Triumph has the Thruxton R and the Thruxton TFC. We are suspecting the new Thruxton RS to fall in between these.
Just like with the Street Triple RS, the Thruxton RS is expected to get updated equipment and aesthetics. The standard Thruxton is already a machine to die for and then we had the TFC and now if the RS would be anything better than that, what are we going to do about it?!
As for the engine, the Thruxton RS would be powered by the same 1200cc twin-cylinder engine, however, Triumph might alter the power figure. The Thruxton R has 97 horses, so expect a few more to join the herd.
