We recently reported about the first-ever spy pictures of the upcoming Triumph Daytona 765. The test mule was being tested in Spain at a closed circuit. Even though the new model looks very much similar to the current one, it is still very tempting and promising. If you aren’t done fantasizing about the Daytona 765, here’s a spy video to make you even more impatient.
The video shows the test mule of the Daytona 765 being thoroughly tested at a race circuit. The bike is exactly the same as we saw in the earlier spy shots. However, it isn’t the looks (now) that have got us goosebumps, it’s the exhaust note.
It’s very likely that the new Daytona will have Triumph’s new 765cc inline 3-cylinder engine that the British brand developed for the Moto2 race bikes. It would produce around 135 hp or even more. It would also be Euro-5 compliant. We have heard this screaming engine in the past when Triumph was testing it last year. At that time we wished to have such a melodious engine in a production bike. And Triumph listened to our wishes.
The test mule has got this beautiful and orgasmic exhaust note which made us go up in excitement and weak in the knees at the same time. We can only wait to experience it in real life. Undoubtedly, the exhaust note is going to be one of the ‘top 5 reasons why should you buy the Triumph Daytona 765’.
There are some more pictures of the bike. And after looking at them more closely, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the new Daytona 765 is the same Daytona 675 but with an updated engine and of course, high-performance parts like Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, etc. What do you think about this new pocket-rocket?
