After getting an overwhelming response last year, the Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy enters its 4th edition in 2019 and brings a series of new events to add more joy to the days. There are going to be 4 events from April to September. People can enjoy all of them as they are scheduled days apart from each other.
The events will include riding courses, outdoor activities, and pure relaxation. New for 2019, the Scrambler Experiences in Romagna and Tuscany offer two fascinating tours, genuine cuisine from the Italian Apennines and limitless fun.
Romagna Scrambler Experience
This will be a one-day tour that is scheduled for Saturday 6 April. Participants will start off from Cesenatico and will travel over paved and dirt roads and get a great opportunity to appreciate the new Scrambler range. There will be a mid-day checkpoint in the midst of the Tuscany-Romagna Apennines. It will offer the participants to taste the local cuisine in relaxed Land of Joy style, while the day will end with an awesome beach BBQ at Cesenatico.
Tuscany Scrambler Experience
This is a two-day ride scheduled for the weekend of 6 – 7 July. It will take the participants over the hills around Siena. This all-round on and off-road experience will cover around 200km on day 1 and more than 150km on day 2. The route will take the participants to the Fattoria Pieve in Salti (Siena) where they can enjoy genuine local food and the relaxed atmosphere that is the hallmark of every Land of Joy event. This experience has been put together in collaboration with the organizing committee of the Eroica classical bicycle race and will take in many of the same stunning roads.
Other events and activities
Apart from the aforementioned new events for 2019 Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy, there are other interesting activities. Riding courses held at Vairano Country House, in the Pavia countryside not far from Milan, will take place on 2 June and 8 September. Flat Track School participants will learn how to drift around oval dirt tracks safely. Off-Road School participants will learn how to handle Off-Road Tracks on the Desert Sled. Scrambler Basic Riding School is for all aspiring motorcyclists looking to learn how to ride properly before they get their license.
The Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy isn’t complete without having some countryside fun and relaxation. The 2019 edition will end in full style thanks to an all-American outdoor BBQ, a chill-out area with music, loungers and beach umbrellas, a pool table, the opportunity to try out the entire Ducati Scrambler range and a not-to-be-missed Cooking Class where a famous chef will teach participants how to barbecue like a pro.
Pirelli will also be taking part in the events, highlighting how the successful partnership between Ducati and itself, two Italian excellence, goes far beyond mere technical collaboration.
