It was 25 years ago when a family from the north-east of Barcelona decided to make a dream come true, to improve the way the motorcycling trips are done. That is how SHAD was born, and with it, its first top case, the 22l. Since then, more than 1,500 products have been developed with that same aim, becoming the reference brand in the motorcycle accessories sector.
Design and innovation have been, from the beginning, the main values for SHAD. The development of new solutions for motorcycles and the registration of its own patents, 3 in the last 3 years, who the great interest and focus on R & D +i.
This commitment with design and technology was recently rewarded. SHAD received the international 2017 Red Dot Award, awarded to the SH58X and SH59X for their Expandable concept, which allows to regulate their capacity in up to three positions. This award adds to the 2015 Red Dot and the 2017 German Award, awarded to the SH36, which placed SHAD as the most awarded motorcycle case brand.
With headquarters in Barcelona, SHAD gives cover all around the world. The company has an extensive commercial network in more than 70 countries in 5 continents. It also has two production centres in China (Shanghai) and Indonesia (Jakarta), which allow it to give support to the company’s international operations.
Thanks to this extensive network and its technical, commercial and sectorial experience, SHAD celebrates its 25 years continuing with its expansion, with which it aims to reach new international markets. A great year for the company, which, as well as sponsoring, as technical provider, the Superbikes World Championship, participates in 15 fairs of the sector in Asia, America and Europe.
With these good expectations, SHAD wants to keep for many years its commitment to meet the changing needs of motorcyclists from all over the world.
