A few more months and the new Royal Enfield Twins (the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor INT 650) would start reaching showrooms in the European market. And like the company had promised during the unveiling of the Twin motorcycles, that after the European market, the rest of the international markets would start getting the bikes. We’ve still got to do a bit of waiting for that. But right now, a new camo colour of the Himalayan has been spotted.
Royal Enfield Himalayan has a different fan following all around the world. It is an affordable ‘adventure bike’ and RE’s first such motorcycle. Pictures of a new camo colour of the Himalayan have surfaced the internet. The motorcycle seems to be at a dealership in India. As of now, the Himalayan is available only in two colour options – black and white.
The new camo colour is an effort by RE to woo in more customers. It goes well with the Himalayan’s ‘natural’ environment. But if you ask me, I like the white colour the most.
Apart from the colour scheme, the rest of the bike remains the same. Same engine, same power and torque figures. Royal Enfield hasn’t officially launched the new camo colour in India yet. It is expected to do so soon. Now the question arises, would it be launched in other international markets or not? We’ll have to wait to find the answer.
