MV Agusta UAE has unveiled new limited edition models of a couple of its 2018 products. The event was held at Bikers Cafe Jumeirah with much fanfare. The unveiled models were the 2018 MV Agusta F4 RC and the Brutale 800 RR Pirelli. Apart from these two breathtaking motorcycles, the range of other MV Agusta motorcycles was also showcased during the later part of the event.

Powering the mighty 2018 MV Agusta F4 RC is an excellent in-line 4-cylinder engine that has been tuned in a state to produce a max power of 205 hp. And this figure is for the ‘road-configured’ model. Opting for the specially built racing kit, this beast gets a bump in power and the figure reaches 212 hp at 13,600 RPM.

It comes with MV Agusta’s MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) which allows the rider to command many parameters, including throttle sensitivity, maximum torque, engine brake, engine response and rev limiter intervention. The inertial platform with a trim sensor utilizes three gyroscopes and accelerometers to determine a precise operation of the traction control on 8 levels. It can also be switched off entirely. There’s also a quick-shifter. All these features make sure that the rider is able to extract out the max out of the bike. Undoubtedly, the 2018 MV Agusta F4 RC is one of the finest track-bike that one can buy at this point in time. It is also among the best designed and aesthetically pleasing motorcycles that we’ve ever seen.

The Brutale 800 RR Pirelli was designed to celebrate the partnership of MV Agusta and Pirelli, who is the sole tyre supplier for the Italian brand. A few elements of this motorcycle help it to stand out from its standard model. There are two special livery options as well as a new custom paint scheme include the headlight unit bracket, the rear subframe and airbox output grilles further defining the craftsmanship of the new Brutale. Other specific features of this model include a unique hand stitched saddle, new lightweight rims derived from the F4, etc. To honour Pirelli, the Brutale 800 RR Pirelli gets wider rear rims to wear a new specific Pirelli tyre – the Diablo Supercorsa SP.

In terms of engine and performance, the Brutale 800 RR Pirelli is powered by a beautiful 798cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces a max power of 140 hp at 13,100 RPM and a peak torque of 86 Nm at 10,100 RPM.
