As MotoGP gets more competitive, so does Marc Marquez as he delivered his master class win recently at the wet Misano circuit making the MotoGP season tighter and more exciting than ever this time around. He scored a stunning victory over the preferred favorite Danilo Petrucci. This victory got him enough championship points to put him on a tie with third place finisher Andrea Dovizioso. Jorge Lorenzo had a great start and was leading the pack as if there was nothing that could come in the way in the factory Ducati at his own pace when suddenly a mistake sent him from the race allowing Petrucci to take the lead.MarkPetrucci was good to hold on to this lead position until the very last lap of the race until Marquez passed him on the very last lap. Meanwhile, Maverick Vinales was hopeful to get the championship as he finished fourth ahead of the Ducati test rider Michele Pirro and Jack Miller.

There was good news for KTM as they scored their best result in this race as well. After finishing the race on the top, Marc Marquez was not welcomed by the crowd or cheered for his victory but was shown hostility.

When asked about it, he admitted that he was completely saddened by the reception that was hostile and also noted that it worried him that the crowd cheered when he crashed during warm-up. He also said that he hopes that his fans would never show such hostility to fellow racers when someone else takes a fall like how he faced recently.

He also said that the warm-up crash was helpful to finish the race without crashing. All the hostility over him and his message to his fans aside, what matter is that Marquez is back on the championship race and made him competitive
