A few months ago Kawasaki revealed its two new supercharged motorcycles to the world. The one called the Ninja H2 SX whereas the other one is named as the Ninja H2 SX SE. Both these motorcycles are built for touring and come under the sport-tourers category. Kawasaki has now announced prices in the USA for both of its supercharged tourers.

It is now official that the new Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX gets a price tag of $19,000 and its sibling, the Ninja H2 SX SE is a bit more expensive with a price of $22,000. The catch here is that if you compare both these motorcycles to the Ninja H2 models, they are pretty affordable. And probably, the most affordable supercharged motorcycles available in the market.

The Ninja H2 SX SE comes in Ninja Green

The new Ninja H2 SX is available in black colour whereas the SX SE gets the Team Green colour. Apart from this, there are a few more differences between these two, about which we’ve already done a story which you can read down below. The engine on both the bikes remains the same, produces 207bhp of power.

These two supercharged Ninjas are based on the H2’s platform. Therefore, a lot of things have been borrowed from it. But to make these bikes capable of touring, Kawasaki had to make changes in the chassis so that they’d be able to bear heavy loads (rider, pillion, panniers, luggage, etc.). Consequently, there’s an increase in the mass. The H2 SX weighs 256 kg and the SE is even heavier weight at 260 kg. Anyway, we’re sure that 207 horses would be more than sufficient to take care of that much of kg.

It is the Ninja H2 SX that’s available only in black

We think that Kawasaki is asking for a very reasonable price for the new Ninja H2 SX and Ninja H2 SX SE. It’s a very good deal provided all the bells and whistles they have to offer. And hey, you can always boast off about the supercharger!
