The 2018 Geneva International Motor Show is underway with many iconic car manufacturers showcasing their finest products and concepts for the world to see. Ducati, being a part of the Volkswagen Group, is also present at the event sharing Audi’s pavilion to showcase its new Scrambler 1100 Special.
The Scrambler 1100 Special was first unveiled by the Italian manufacturer at the 2017 EICMA. The bike was instantly a hit among the enthusiasts and the Ducati Scrambleristi community was ready to welcome the newest member with open arms. Now, it is up on display at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show (8 to 18 March).
Ducati has implemented all the feedback it got from its customers to make the new Scrambler 1100 Special. It has got a 1079cc engine which is packed with more than enough low-end torque to keep that valuable grin on your face all the time. The bike now feels like a big-bike build and of course comes loaded with the latest technology, high-end performance and ultra-high finish and comfort. To help things ease a bit, Ducati has provided its traditional electronics package to keep the rider’s actions in check. As for the safety, Cornering ABS and traction control are monitoring every motion of the wheels.
There are three variants of the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 – the standard, the 1100 Special and the 1100 Sport. Now that the bike has been showcased at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, it is being anticipated that it will start hitting the European dealerships from mid-March.
