Ducati Monster is one of the finest naked motorcycles that are available in the market in today’s time. Oh, not just in today’s time, it has been mesmerising enthusiasts for the last 25 years. Yes, that’s right. Ducati Monster has turned 25.
It was 25 years ago when the first Monster left the factory Borgo Panigale, Bologna. And it then created a brand new sector – the naked sports bikes – and generating one of the most devoted communities of enthusiasts. To mark the anniversary this year, Ducati is showcasing an original Monster 900 MY1993 is on display at the Ducati Museum. Ducati obtained this motorcycle from a collector and enthusiast who kept it in excellent condition.
Ducati has been catering to the needs of the community of enthusiasts of the naked sports bikes ever since. Now, to celebrate the occasion, Ducati is organising many activities and initiatives as it is a significant anniversary for the Italian manufacturer.
Among the events is a Monster rally organised in France at the “Sunday Ride Classic 2018”, an international event dedicated to collectors’ bikes to be held at the “Paul Ricard” Circuit in Le Castellet during the afternoon of 24 March. Ducati and the European DOCs (Ducati Owners Clubs) involved in the event have called Monsteristi together to stage a racetrack parade to celebrate the anniversary in spectacular fashion. The invitation to take part in this peaceful invasion of the circuit is open to all Monster owners who only need to register for the event and show up at the track.
There are a plethora of other events scheduled to take place during the 2018 World Ducati Week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ducati Monster. The World Ducati Week is in itself a huge event. It is held every 2 years which gathers together thousands of enthusiasts. This year it’s going to be held on 20, 21 and 22 July 2018 at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit in Misano Adriatico. The fact that the Monster has completed 25 years of existence, and Ducati is going to celebrate that at the World Ducati Week, it is going to be one hell of an event.
