Nicky Hayden won the 2006 MotoGP World Championship and also many hearts. He also raced in the AMA Superbike championship and stole the crown in 2002. Ever since he started his career, he always relied on Arai for his helmets. Now, Arai is paying homage to him by launching two new helmets.
The first helmet is the Arai Corsair-X Nicky-7. Arai has used the Nicky-7 graphics on this replica. The Kentucky kid made this helmet famous when he used it in the first five rounds of the 2017 Superbike World Championship. It is priced at $979.95 and is available in XS-XXL sizes. The package also includes a clear Pinlock anti-fog shield insert.
The other one is the VX-Pro4 Nicky-7. This is for Nicky’s passion for off-road motorcycling. It is priced at $749.95 and just like the Corsair-X Nicky-7, it comes in sizes ranging from XS-XXL.
Speaking on this, Tommy Hayden said, “Nicky definitely took a lot of pride in his relationship with Arai and personally put a lot of input and time into the designs. His helmet was very important to him. As a family, we felt it was right to continue with Nicky’s replicas to keep his legacy alive, especially for his many fans.”
