With a few more days more than a month remaining in the beginning of the 2018 MotoGP world championship, we’re pretty excited. The last season was one of the best MotoGP seasons so far, and we’re pretty sure that this one will be even more thrilling.

The results of the official test at Sepang made us much more impatient. Lorenzo scored the fastest lap ever at the Malaysian circuit. With Dovizioso, who gave a tough fight to Marquez for the championship, and Lorenzo’s immense improvement, Ducati is really looking forward to the 2018 MotoGP season.

What’s new?

1- The distance of seven MotoGP races has been shortened. This decision has come forward after a consolation between MotoGP riders and the safety commission. The affected races include the ones happening in the United States, Jerez, Le Mans, Barcelona, Brno, Misano and Valencia.

2- LCR Honda signs up Takaaki Nakagami.

3- Xavier Simeon joins Avintia Ducati.

4- New winglets are expected to be seen in this season.

5- A new Thai GP round has been included in this year’s race calendar.

6- This makes it the busiest MotoGP calendar ever.
