Energica, an Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer, was established in 2014. Today, it has got three models. Quite an impressive progress there, isn’t it? The latest and the third model that Energica has revealed is called the Eva EsseEsse9. The bike was showcased at the 2018 CES which was held in Las Vegas.
The new Eva EsseEsse9 is basically based on the original Energica Eva. It’s powered by a permanent magnet AC electric motor coupled with an 11.7 kWh lithium polymer battery. This combination provides a total of 108bhp of power and 180Nm of torque to play around.
Energica claims that the battery on this one charges from 0-85% in just 30 minutes when charged via a fast charger. To completely charge the battery from dead-state, it would require 3.5 hours.
Energica has provided four different riding modes to utilise all that power as per the likes of the user. The four modes are Urban, Evo, Rain and Sport. As their names suggest, the power delivery of the bike will be altered accordingly to suit the mode.
The Eva EsseEsse9 looks spectacular. It’s naked, street-fighter stance and proportionate shape give it a very sporty look. Other features of the bike include a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT screen with an integrated GPS receiver, Bluetooth, an ambient light sensor and it even shows the closest charging stations when connected to the MYEnergica app.
Energica hasn’t announced the price of the Eva EsseEsse9 yet. However, it is being anticipated that it would fall somewhere around $23-24000 mark.
